JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has clarified that the son of a street sweeper named Ghufron was given a score of 0 when he took a test at the prosecutor's office. It turns out that the number 0 in the sub-test that is aborting, such as psychological tests, psychological tests, and medical tests is not a value, but a code for participants who do not meet the requirements (TMS).

"Meanwhile, number one (1) is the code for Eligible Participants (MS)," said the Head of the AGO Legal Information Center, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak in a written statement received in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, January 6.

Clarification was given by the Attorney General's Office following reports in several media that contained information from the Chairman of the DPD RI, LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti.

This assessment is different from sub-tests that have weight or which are not abortive, such as interviews, CAT, aptitude, martial arts, or work practices. The assessment range for the sub-test that has weight and is not aborting is the number 0-100.

Leonard also explained that his party had explained openly to all prospective applicants regarding the components of the selection assessment which consisted of various sub-tests that had weight values, and there were sub-tests that were abortive, namely psychological, psychological, and health tests.

"Where three sub-tests that are aborting are absolutely necessary in order to recruit candidates for the RI Attorney General's Office in accordance with their duties and functions as law enforcers," he said.

Indonesian Attorney General's Office employees do not only need intellectual intelligence, but are also supported by mental readiness, potential, psychological, as well as mental health and good physical health.

In order to ensure objectivity, he continued, the appointment of a team of HR consultants who run psychological tests and psychological tests is carried out in an open auction through e-procurement or electronic auction so that independence is maintained.

Meanwhile, medical tests are held simultaneously in various regional hospitals which are then assessed centrally by the Independent Prosecutor's Doctor Team to minimize the occurrence of fraud.

"Based on this explanation, the Attorney General's Office has provided clarification and information to the public regarding the report," said Leonard.
