JAKARTA – Three suspects in the Nagrek accident, Bandung Regency, Colonel Inf P, Kopda DA, and Kopda A, are trying to eliminate evidence. This was conveyed by the Central Commander of the Army Military Police (Danpuspomad) Lt. Gen. TNI Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo.

"They are trying to eliminate evidence by painting the car they were using when the accident happened," said Danpuspomad, quoting Antara, Thursday, January 6.

The suspects painted their car from black to gray.

"They changed the color of the car after they returned and arrived in Sleman, Central Java," said Chandra.

The suspects, he said, were also trying to eliminate evidence by bringing the bodies of the victims Handi Saputra (16) and Salsabila (14) and dumping them in different locations. Handi's body was found in the Serayu River, Banyumas. Meanwhile, Salsabila's body was found in the Serayu River, Cilacap, Central Java.

"What they (the three TNI AD officers) did, was an attempt to abdicate responsibility or take action to eliminate the initial evidence, namely a traffic accident," explained Chandra.

He emphasized that the actions taken by the three members of the Indonesian Army were beyond the limits of humanity. Therefore, in the examination, his party also examined the psychology and psychology of the three persons.

"When psychological and mental tests are carried out, the TNI AD is used as material to see how the condition of the three suspects is. The results are for evaluation," said Chandra without elaborating on the results of the psychological tests of the suspects.

He admitted that he was grateful that this case file had been submitted to the Jakarta High Military Oditurat II for immediate trial in a military court.

"The three suspects are currently being held at the Jaya Guntur Military Detention Center," said Chandra.
