The Depok area has been tarnished due to the land mafia case. In which, the Head of the Depok City Transportation Service (Dishub) Eko Herwiyanto and a member of the Depok City DPRD, Nurdin Al Ardisoma, were named suspects.

The Bareskrim Porli, which handles the case, has also named the two suspects since December 27, 2021.

"That's right (the suspect has been named)," said the Director of General Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigadier General Andi Rian, to VOI, Wednesday, January 5.

In addition to the two officials, the Criminal Investigation Department also named two private parties as suspects in the land mafia case. They were Burhanudin Abu Bakr and Hanafi.

The land mafia case in Sawangan, Depok, occurred around 2018. However, the reporter named Rudi Tringadi who represented his client Major General AD (Ret.) Emack Sadzili only made it on July 8, 2020.

In this case, the land area of 2,930 meters is the subject of the case.

Apart from that, Andi stated that although the four people were named suspects, they had not been arrested or detained. Because, the follow-up of the new investigator will call for examination.

However, it has not specified when the suspects will be questioned. The reason is that investigators will schedule it in the near future.

"Not yet (detained, ed) further investigation will be carried out as a suspect," said Andi.

In this case, the suspects are charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code, Article 266 of the Criminal Code, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, Article 372 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Not only Depok, the Bekasi area has also been tarnished due to the actions of its leaders. This is because the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a hand arrest operation (OTT) against Bekasi Mayor Rahmat Effendi.

Although until now it has not been clearly disclosed the form of the alleged corruption involving Rahmat Effendi. However, his actions have been considered to tarnish the good name of the Bekasi area.

Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron said during a silent operation his party found money in the OTT. Although the number is not specified.

"We have secured several parties with some money," said Ghufron.

Ghufron revealed that currently the party caught in the silent operation is undergoing investigation. This is done so that allegations of corruption that occur can be investigated clearly

"We are currently examining the parties to make clear the allegations of corruption that we are investigating," he said.
