PLN Managing Director Exposed To COVID-19 After Coming Back From Bali, 18 Employees Underwent PCR Tests, The Results Were Negative

DENPASAR - PLN president director Darmawan Prasodjo and a PLN director were exposed to COVID-19 after a visit from Bali.

PLN Bali Public Relations Officer I Made Arya said that his party immediately carried out tracing and immediately carried out PCR tests on 18 employees who had close contact.

"At PLN Bali, we received information that the President Director was exposed to direct tracing. So all those related to it we did a PCR test yesterday and this morning the results came out including our GM and all of them came back negative," said Arya when contacted, Wednesday, January 5.

The results of the COVID-19 test were known this morning. Dozens of PLN employees were negative for the coronavirus.

According to Arya, the meeting between the GM PLN Bali and the President Director of PLN occurred during a visit to the Pesanggaran Diesel and Gas Power Plant (PLTDG), Denpasar, Bali, Monday, December 27. The Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, was also present at the event to ensure electricity supply for the G20 Summit in Bali.

"Indeed, the information is that the President Director was exposed. However, we don't know whether he was exposed in Bali or where. No one has confirmed it and not necessarily in Bali. It just happens that he has activities in Bali," said Arya.
