Man In Denpasar Found Dead In The Sewer In Front Of His House

DENPASAR - Edwin Mongondow (70) was found dead in a ditch in front of his house in Bukit Pratama Housing, Jalan Gong Kebyar, Jimbaran, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

"The victim lives alone in (the house) and the victim's children live outside Bali," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu I Ketut Sukadi, Wednesday, January 5.

From the testimony of witnesses, it is known that the victim was seen in front of his house at around 02.30 a.m. local time.

"The witness saw the victim sitting at the location while doing the activity of pulling grass and the witness just passed by without reprimanding the victim," he added.

At around 05.00 a.m., another witness received information that a person had fallen in a ditch. When checked, it was found that the victim had fallen into a ditch.

"With this incident, the witness contacted the housing management and the witness along with the residents covered the victim with a blanket," said Sukadi.

At around 08.50 a.m., the Badung Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) ambulance arrived at the victim's house and took the victim to Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar.

"The victim is suspected of being sick with a medical receipt from the Siloam Hospital and several medicines being found in the victim's house," explained Sukadi.
