Partnering With Indosat, Transition Will Present IM3 And Tri Applications To Infinix To Tecto Phones

JAKARTA Transition Holdings, the company that oversees Infinix, Itel, and Tecno, is in partnership with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH). This partnership was inaugurated at the Shanghai Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Through this collaboration, the two companies are determined to accelerate digital inclusion in Indonesia. By combining connectivity services from IM3 and Tri as well as digital devices from Transition, both will provide integrated digital services in remote areas.

"This partnership is a strategic initiative in our mission to empower the Indonesian people through digital solutions that are inclusive, affordable and relevant," said Indosat Ooredoo Chief Marketing Officer Hutchison Vivek Mehendiratta in a statement, quoted on Thursday, June 19.

Meanwhile, the Transition stated that this partnership will strengthen digital experience in the country. The hope is that the Chinese company can provide the best and integrated services for all consumers locally.

By combining the strong influence of IOH as a local brand and superior technological innovation and services from Transition, we are committed to continuing to present high-quality digital devices," said Vice President of Transition Holdings Benjamin Jiang.

As part of this partnership, Indonesia will expand its service reach to more than 10,000 Transsion retail outlets in Indonesia. This outlet can be a distribution point for Indosat SIM cards as well as a center for access to various digital services.

In addition, all devices from Infinix, Itel, to Tecno will be equipped with the myIM3 and Bima+ applications in pre-install form. Thus, users can directly manage their data plans and access the desired content.

Through this partnership, Transition will also provide bundling packages that offer eSIM options. Hopefully, users can activate the service more easily and more flexibly.
