Passenger Backflow At Kualanamanu Airport Reaches 14,632 People

MEDAN - Passengers on return flights for Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 at Kualanamu Deli Serdang International Airport, North Sumatra, reached 14,632 people as of January 2, 2022.

Branch Communications and Legal Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II Kualanamu International Airport, Chandra Gumilar said that of the number of passengers, 6,251 people arrived and 8,381 people departed.

Meanwhile, cargo reached 76,019 kilograms, namely 60,693 kilograms arriving and 15,326 kilograms leaving.

"The total number of flights is 130 flights, namely 65 incoming flights and 65 departing flights," Chandra said as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 3.

Previously, airplane passengers at Kualanamu Deli Serdang International Airport, North Sumatra, on Christmas 2021 and by the New Year of 2022 were recorded as many as 10,510 people.

Of the 10,510 passengers, 6,378 people arrived and 4,132 people departed.

The number of 10,510 passengers was reported by Air Transport data at Kualanamu Airport, Monday, December 27. Meanwhile, cargo reached 102,749 kilograms, namely 68,605 kilograms arriving and 34,144 kilograms leaving.

The number of flights was 110 flights, namely 55 incoming flights and 55 departing flights.

Meanwhile, the government prohibits ASN, TNI/Polri and BUMN employees from taking leave and traveling outside the area during Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022. This provision applies from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
