JAKARTA - The new academic year even semester 2021/2022 starts today. Seeing that the COVID-19 pandemic is under control, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has started to hold face-to-face learning (PTM) with 100 percent student capacity in class.
This refers to the Joint Decree of the 4 Ministers dated December 21, 2021 Number 05/KB/2021, Number 1347 of 2021, Number HK.01.08/MENKES/6678/2021, Number 443-5847 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Implementation of Learning in the Time of the COVID Pandemic -19.
"This policy relaxation is in accordance with the PPKM Level 1 conditions applied in DKI Jakarta and refers to the Decree of the 4 Ministers," said Head of DKI Education Agency Nahdiana on Sunday, January 2.
Nahdiana explained, 100 percent PTM can be done because the conditions for handling the pandemic in DKI have met the requirements.
These requirements include attainment of dose 2 vaccination for educators and education personnel above 80 percent, attainment of dose 2 vaccination for the elderly above 50 percent, as well as ongoing vaccination of students in accordance with statutory provisions at the city/district level.
PTM 100 percent is carried out every day with a maximum length of study of 6 hours per day or 30 hours per week.

Taga revealed that preparations for the implementation of 100 percent PTM have been carried out since Friday, December 31, 2021, by re-preparing classes that were partially closed due to limited PTM, provision of sanitation, spare masks, and thermo guns.
"The socialization of 100 percent PTM to parents in a marathon has also been carried out on Saturday and Sunday to all parents," he explained.
It is known, during the previous semester, namely in the odd semester of 2021/2022, Jakarta implemented a limited PTM filled by 50 percent of students from the total capacity in the class.
