New Year's Eve, MUI Invites People To Muhasabah

JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Anwar Abbas, invites the public to reflect or evaluate themselves ahead of the New Year's Eve 2022.

"It is hoped that we can reflect and reflect or evaluate ourselves so that we can position ourselves as well as possible," Anwar said in his statement, Friday, December 31.

"And apply in accordance with what has been intended and desired by the philosophy and basic laws that exist in this country, namely Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution," he added.

According to Anwar, so that people's lives can run well, safely, peacefully, and peacefully, the Indonesian nation must be able to uphold the values of deliberation and consensus led by wisdom in every deliberation that is carried out.

"This is important for us to emphasize, because we believe that by taking this method, we will be able to realize what has become our shared aspirations and desires as citizens of the nation, namely the realization of social justice for all Indonesian people," he explained.

Anwar said bad things should not be allowed to continue. The Indonesian people, he said, must be able to seek and find solutions for the good of the nation and state. So it takes reflection and reflection or self-evaluation in order to position yourself as well as possible.
