BMKG Weather Forecast: Rain Accompanied By Lightning And Wind Hits East And South Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued an early warning of potential rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in the South Jakarta and East Jakarta Administrative City areas from Friday afternoon to evening. On Friday, light rain intensity only occurred in the two areas, while North, West, Central Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands Regency were covered in sunny to cloudy weather. For temperatures, South and East Jakarta will range from 24-32 degrees Celsius and humidity levels 70-100 percent. Three administrative cities in Jakarta will also experience a uniform temperature and humidity range, namely North, West and Central Jakarta, while the Thousand Islands is estimated at 26-32 degrees Celsius with a humidity percentage of 80-90 percent.

Early warnings are not only issued in a small part of the capital city, but also in surrounding areas, such as Depok City, Bogor City and Regency, as well as Bekasi City and Regency in West Java. and gradually subsides with light rain at night. For Depok, rain with a moderate level of intensity will fall during the day and turn into thunderstorms at night, while for Bogor City thunderstorms will occur during the day and the intensity decreases to moderate rain at night. Better conditions will be experienced in the Tangerang City area, Banten Province, which is predicted to experience light rain and cloudy skies during the day and into the evening.
