"One of the efforts emphasized by him is the regeneration of Tumang craftspeople by the younger generation," he said.

According to him, regeneration in the form of teaching is part of the official curriculum, in the sense that it is taught in a structured manner in schools both through extracurricular and general knowledge through local content in Javanese.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) UI, Bondan Kanumoyoso, said that his party supports the regeneration of Tumang Boyolali craft craftsmen.

"The potential in Boyolali Regency is extraordinary. This is one of the extraordinary local wisdoms and now we are trying to bring it back up," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Boyolali, M. Said Hidayat, welcomed the efforts to preserve Tumang's craft art. Through the Department of Education and Culture (Disdikbud) of Boyolali Regency, it is hoped that metal crafts can continue to be preserved by the next generation.

"This will be able to maintain. The regeneration of what is our goal to maintain the existence of Tumang metal crafts will not remain in name. However, Tumang metal crafts will be maintained sustainably through regeneration," said the Regent.
