Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto Officially As Head Of NTB Police

MATARAM - Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto officially serves as the Head of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police.

The Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Artanto, said that the assignment of the rank of two-star general to the new NTB Police Chief was carried out in a series of handover ceremonies at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta.

"The handover of positions and promotions have been carried out at the National Police Headquarters today. So now, Pak Djoko Poerwanto has officially served as the NTB Police Chief with the rank of inspector general," said Artanto as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 29.

The promotion ceremony and handover of Djoko Poerwanto's position were directly led by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto replaces Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal who has now shifted to the position of Riau Police Chief.

Djoko Poerwanto received a promotion along with 19 other high-ranking officers. The sacred ceremony of the Corps Report Card was carried out in a series of handovers for the positions of the seven regional police chiefs.

The shift in position is in accordance with the contents of the Telegram of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo Number ST/2568/XII/KEP./2021 dated December 17, 2021, which was signed by Assistant HR Inspector General Wahyu Widada on behalf of the National Police Chief.
