The US And KITA Movement Appears, PDIP Politicians: The Public Judges Who Is Working, Who Is Sick

JAKARTA - PDI-P politician Andreas Hugo Pareira considers the emergence of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE) and the Indonesian Density of the Homeland (KITA) is a natural thing in the dynamics of Indonesian politics. WE were initiated by Din Syamsuddin et al, while KITA emerged from pro Jokowi who was also PKB politician Maman Imanulhaq.

"This is part of ordinary political dynamics. There are groups that agree and there are groups that disagree," Andreas said when contacted by VOI, Friday, August 21.

He assessed that this movement would not affect the performance of the government or make public trust in the government waver. This is because the performance of the government can only be assessed by the public, not by these movements.

"The public will judge who works and works, as well as who only talks, hints and hints," he said.

Previously, as KITA's declarator, Maman Imanulhaq said his movement was trying to build creative and sustainable political awareness. He said this movement was an independent coalition that developed and preserved the Indonesian homeland as a common identity and future.

He brushed off WE declared as OUR RIGHTS. According to him, KITA was formed as a political awareness of Indonesian togetherness.

When further confirmed, Maman emphasized that his movement was a form of correction for groups that declared that WE were still considered holding grudges after the 2019 Presidential Election.

He confirmed that Jokowi's government must be criticized constructively. It's just that he reminded no group that deliberately builds a critical narrative without a solution.

"The Jokowi administration must indeed be criticized constructively. The right of opinion and assembly is guaranteed by the constitution. However, no group should continue to hold grudges, cynically, as if they wanted to seize power. That is not very beautiful," said Maman.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of the Indonesian Political Review, Ujang Komarudin, assessed that the presence of KITA, which was declared by the former Director of Volunteerism for the National Campaign Team (TKN) Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin, Maman Imanulhaq, aims to fight or counter the US movement.

"Formed by the authorities using their supporters. This is usually to counter the US movement," said Ujang.

WE will be against US. Because, when the US movement criticizes the government, it is not the government that will answer directly. "But from the supporters who answered, from KITA," he said.

Because, when the government itself answers this criticism, they are worried that the Jokowi administration will appear anti-criticism and anti-democracy from the community. "That's why a third party like KITA was created. They are the ones who will count OUR opinions and action movements," he said.
