Kim Jong Un Orders Pet Dog To Eat To Anticipate Hunger

JAKARTA - The great leader of North Korea (North Korea) Kim Jong Un ordered all authorities to confiscate pet dogs across the country. Kim wants the dogs to be the food he hopes will save North Korea from starvation.

"People used to raise pigs and livestock on their porches. But top officials instead chose domesticated dogs which could spark hatred," said the source, quoted by Bussiner Insider, Tuesday, August 18.

The source added that the authorities have registered data on households where dogs are kept as pets. "The authorities have identified households with domestic dogs and forced them to hand them over or forcibly confiscated them."

Once confiscated, the dogs will be sent to a government-owned zoo or sold to a restaurant to be cooked and eaten. The Chosun Ilbo also revealed that animal owners appeared to be cursing the steps taken by Kim.

Regarding COVID-19, North Korea has only claimed one case of transmission. However, experts doubt this explanation. One South Korean news site has reported that nearly 200 North Korean soldiers have died from COVID-19. Several thousand others have been quarantined to contain the spread of COVID-19.
