Create A Telegram Account 'Desahan VVIP' Selling Porn Content, 20-Year-Old Youth In Aceh Arrested By Police

ACEH - Aceh Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate personnel arrested a man suspected of selling pornographic videos on social media.

Director of the Aceh Police Special Criminal Investigation, Kombes Sony Sanjaya, said the perpetrator had the initials ZH (20), and was arrested in Mutiara Timur, Pidie Regency.

"The perpetrator was arrested for allegedly providing paid vulgar content on the Telegram application. The perpetrator's actions violated the electronic transaction information law or the ITE Law," said Sanjaya in Banda Aceh, Antara, Thursday, December 23.

ZH's arrest was based on information when officers carried out cyber patrols. During the patrol, officers found a Telegram social media account under the name 'Desahan VVIP' with the username 'Becekmin.'

"The account offers vulgar video content and joins groups containing vulgar videos by paying bank transfers, financial technology, or cell phone credit," he said.

After investigation, ZH was arrested at a food stall in the Mutiara Timur area, Pidie Regency.

Along with him, said Sanjaya, evidence was also seized in the form of identity cards, two cell phones, a motorcycle and vehicle registration, a bank passbook, as well as an automatic teller machine or ATM card.

"The perpetrator was charged with Article 45 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 19/2016 on the amendment to Law Number 11/2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) and/or Article 29 in conjunction with Article 4 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 44 /2008 about pornography," he said.
