6 Brawl Perpetrators In Matraman Who Killed 2 People Arrested

JAKARTA - The police managed to arrest six brawlers who beat up two teenagers, Aditya Lestianto (12) and Yaris Riadi (17) to death on Jalan Pramuka Barat, Matraman, East Jakarta.

East Jakarta Metro Deputy Police Chief, AKBP Steven Tamuntuan said, the six perpetrators had the initials MAP alias kibol (20), VR (16) RH convenience (15), then IK alias Ambon (16), RD (16) and DZP alias Ale (14). They were arrested at different locations.

"Their jobs are students, except for MAP alias Kibol, the other are students," Steven told reporters, Wednesday, August 19.

Based on the results of the investigation, said Steven, the brawl had been planned. Because the groups of suspects and groups of victims challenged each other through social media Instagram.

"The group of suspects received this code to invite to meet the victim's group via Instagram. And the response was brought by the victim or group of victims, the ease with which they met at the crime scene by using a motorbike and then there was a fight against the abuse," said Steven.

Even though they have arrested six perpetrators, Steven continued, his party is still hunting down two other people. Because the results of the investigation, this fugitive played a role in hacking the victims.

"Currently there are still perpetrators who are in pursuit and we have sent a team to chase them and hopefully they will soon be caught, namely Gembel (a pseudonym) whose role is to stab the victim with a slit. Then F also did the stabbing," said Steven.

The perpetrators who have been arrested are subject to Article 170 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Emergency Law Number 15 of 1951 in conjunction with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2012 concerning the juvenile justice system.

Previously, two teenagers Aditya Lestianto (12) and his colleague Yaris Riadi (17) were killed in a brawl on Jalan Pramuka Barat, Matraman, East Jakarta, Tuesday, August 17 morning.

Aditya died with stab wounds in the lower left abdomen, two stab wounds on his back, and abrasions on his right and left toes. Meanwhile, Yaris died with stab wounds on his back, head, and abrasions on his left knee.
