Central Java - Parang Island, Genting Island, and Nyamu Island in the Karimunjawa Islands, Jepara Regency are ready to be brightly lit because they receive electricity from the State Electricity Company (PLN).

This was conveyed by the Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo in Semarang, Wednesday, December 22. "Alhamdulillah, today there is interesting information, electricity in Karimunjawa, especially in small islands such as Parang, Nyamuk, and Genting, will be taken over by PLN," Ganjar said as quoted by Antara.

Ganjar Pranowo admits there are problems related to the source of electrical energy in small islands in the Karimunjawa Archipelago.

While visiting the Karimunjawa Islands some time ago, Ganjar received reports from residents that the solar cell which normally functions to supply electricity was in a damaged condition and the local community was unable to repair it because of the high cost.

Therefore Governor Ganjar Pranowo then asked PLN to help fulfill electricity for residents in the Karimunjawa Islands.

"The network is repaired so that the people there get affirmative action. Their electricity needs will be fulfilled and in three months it will be completed," he said.

Related to this, Ganjar Pranowo said that the independence of lighting in small islands will be completed, especially since the community has been waiting for electricity from PLN for a long time.

"The presence of PLN to take over the electricity needs there is the hope of the people," said Ganjar.
