Charta Politica Survey Shows Majority Of People Want Jokowi To Reshuffle Cabinet

JAKARTA - In the latest Charta Politica survey, it is shown that the majority of people want President Joko Widodo to reshuffle his cabinet.

"A total of 68.1 percent of respondents said they agreed, 18 percent disagreed, and 13.2 percent said they didn't know", said the survey statement quoted on Wednesday, December 22.

Meanwhile, public satisfaction with the government's performance is quite good with a figure of 70.1 percent. With details, 8.3 percent said they were very satisfied and 61.8 percent said they were quite satisfied.

While dissatisfied obtained 29.4 percent and did not know 0.6 percent. Specifically for public assessments of ministerial performance, as many as 54.6 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the performance of the ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. Meanwhile, 39.3 percent said they were not satisfied.

"The minister's performance satisfaction is below the level of public satisfaction with the overall government performance", he wrote.

When compared to the performance of the cabinet or ministers in the first period of Jokowi's leadership, this second period experienced a significant decline. The public considered Jokowi's first term to have a better performance.

In the first period 2014-2019, as many as 51.7 respondents considered it good. While the second period 2019-2024 was only 36.5 percent. Stated not knowing 11.8 percent.

There is also a survey conducted on November 29 - December 6, 2021, using the multistage random sampling method. The number of respondents is 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of + 2.83 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.
