JAKARTA - A woman motorcyclist named Susi (27) was found dead on Jalan Raya Kranggan, to be precise in front of the Kranggan Permai housing estate, Jatisampurna, Bekasi City.

Initially, Susi was suspected of being the victim of a hit-and-run. However, after an investigation by police officers, it turned out that Susi had a single accident.

The Head of Traffic for the Bekasi City Metro Police, AKP Farida, confirmed the accident. However, based on preliminary examination, the woman was not a hit and run victim.

"It's true what happened this morning. The statement was there, it wasn't a hit and run, right, it was clear that the CBR had a motorbike," AKP Farida confirmed, Wednesday, December 22.

Based on information received by officers at the location, continued Farida, Susi's motorbike, a Honda Vario with police number F 6022 KF, was traveling from north to south on Jalan Raya Kranggan, precisely in front of the Kranggan Permai housing.

Arriving at the scene, the victim tried to overtake the box car in front of him. However, at that time the victim was thought to have tried to avoid a pothole or damaged road at the scene, but the victim slipped.

"The victim's motorbike slipped and hit the CBR motorbike from the south to the north while the victim hit a box car vehicle," he said.

As a result of the accident, the victim suffered serious injuries and eventually died at the scene. However, according to Farida, his party is still conducting investigations related to the incident.

"So it's still in the process of being investigated, so that's more or less the chronology, the description of the witness who said he avoided the hole, at first overtaking the hole, then avoiding it," he said.
