PDIP Reluctant To Comment On The Highest Reward Survey As A 2024 Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDIP faction, Utut Adianto, was reluctant to comment on the results of a survey which recorded the highest electability of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024. In fact, 50 percent of PDIP voters in the 2019 general election claimed to support Ganjar. According to Utut, the party is in line with the direction of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri not to speak out about the survey results. "In this case, we are just standing straight. Internally, PDIP, said Utut, has not conducted surveys of candidates for the 2024 presidential election. "Ganjar Pranowo got the highest electability. Ganjar got 25.5 percent, Prabowo Subianto 22.3 and Anies 17.7 percent," said Executive Director of Charta Politica Indonesia Yunarto Wijaya, Monday, December 20.

Yunarto said, the majority of respondents who have been steady with their choices are 55.0 percent. "Meanwhile, it is still possible to change to 38.5 percent and not know or not answer 6.8 percent," he said.

The survey was conducted on 29 - 6 December 2021 using the multistage random sampling method. The number of respondents is 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of + 2.83 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.
