LAMPUNG - The 34th NU Congress in Lampung, 22-24 December 2021 has an important meaning because it welcomes the 100th anniversary of the founding of this organization. Don't let this congress turn into a commotion.

"Don't let it end up making noise, showing the inability to manage such a formidable legacy. This is frankly the most formidable challenge, regardless of these dynamics and so on," said PBNU Chairman Prof Muhammad Nuh, Tuesday, December 21.

M Nuh said NU's legacy should not be in shambles, it must be matured, prepared properly. Its strategic meaning is to prepare the foundation to be able to move through the next 100 years.

"This is the strategic meaning," he said.

He said the highest institution of this congress should not be reduced to just electing Rais 'Aam and the General Chair. But these extraordinary strategic decisions must be made in this 34th Congress.

"There are more and more intelligent organizations, the smarter the more alternatives are offered. But for organizations that are not intelligent, including people who are not intelligent, they are people who have no choice," explained M Noah, who will become the chairman of the 34th Congress Steering Committee. the NU.

"This solemnity was used to build civilization, so the theme of the magnitude of capability that we must direct NU to in the future is no longer doing something that is possible. But in the future NU will take the area of the impossible," he explained.
