TABANAN - The Toyota Avanza DK 1141 GK car hit 3 pedestrians who were sitting on the sidewalk in Tabanan, Bali. One person died.

"For drivers, the Tabanan Police Traffic Unit has kept quiet," said Head of Public Relations of Tabanan Police Iptu I Nyoman Subagio, Monday, December 20.

The accident occurred on Jalan MH Thamrin in the direction of Tanah Lot, Kediri District, Tabanan. This car is driven by I Nyoman Wira Adana (60).

While the victim who was hit was named Jepri from Jember. He died at the scene.

Other victims, namely Moh Purwanto and Sugeng Hariyanto, were injured. Both are being treated at Tabanan General Hospital.

The accident occurred when the car was traveling at high speed. It is suspected that the driver did not concentrate until he finally hit three people.

"While driving, the vehicle suddenly swerved to the left and then hit three people who were sitting on the pavement. For the factors causing the driver of the vehicle to be negligent, not being careful and not concentrating so that he was not able to control the speed of his vehicle properly which caused the accident , said Iptu Subagio.
