DEPOK - Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris asked the Governor of West Java (Jabar), Ridwan Kamil to design the construction of two Great Mosques in Depok City, West Java.

"The construction of the Great Mosque itself is planned to be carried out in Jatijajar Village, Tapos District, and Pondok Cina, Beji District," said Mohammad Idris in his statement, Antara, Monday, December 20.

Idris added that he had submitted to the governor for design drawings of the two Great Mosques in Depok, while the implementation of the Detail Engineering Design (DED) from the Depok City Government was in accordance with the design made by Kang Emil.

According to him, for the construction of the Great Mosque, which is located in Jatijajar, the study has been completed. While construction will be carried out in 2023.

"Another one at Pondok Cina is still in the process of transferring assets. God willing, the construction of the Great Mosque in Jatijajar will begin in 2023, and 2024 for the one in Pondok Cina," he explained.
