Congratulations, Anies Baswedan Has Been Named Best Regional Leaders

JAKARTA - Several regional heads, from the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan to the Regent of Bogor Ade Yasin, have been named the "Best Regional Leaders" at the "Obsession Award 2021" in Jakarta, Friday, December 17.

Chairman of Obsession Media Group (OMG), Usamah Hisyam in a written statement received in Bogor, Saturday, said that two other regional heads who received similar awards were the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and the Regent of Bantaeng, Ilham Syah Azikin.

According to him, the determination of the winners of the 2021 Obsession Awards was carried out by the Editors Club OMG in collaboration with the Indonesia Research and Survey (IRS) in screening 55 winners for various categories.

"So the award recipients are considered by the media group to be strong figures and can build the economy, character, and business, even though they are hit by a pandemic, they can still take the initiative to be followed and imitated by all members of the community", he explained as quoted by Antara.

Osama Hisham said that the award was given in commemoration of the 17th anniversary of OMG.

The Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G Plate, who was present on the awarding night, expressed his gratitude to all the figures who have been serious, focused, and worked hard in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin, claimed to have received the mandate through the Best Regional Leaders award to continue to seriously develop Bogor Regency. "An extraordinary award in the midst of a pandemic. This is a mandate, hopefully, I can carry out this mandate well", said Ade Yasin.
