COVID-19 Update As Of December 17: 291 New Cases, 205 Recovered, 7 Dead

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 308,913 specimens were examined with the result that there were 291 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,260,148 and active cases are 4,912", said Ministry of Health data, Friday, December 17.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 38 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 37 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 22 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 19 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 59,652,804.
