KAI Operates 13 Additional Trains To Welcome Independence Anniversary Holidays

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operation Area 1 Jakarta, has added train (KA) trips in order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence. There are 13 additional trains operated by KAI.

Eva said, to anticipate the increase in the number of passengers during the Independence Day holiday, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta will operate 13 additional trains, with the distribution of 8 trains to depart from Gambir Station and 5 trains to depart from Pasar Senen Station.

"With the increase in train travel, there are a total of 28 trains operating in the Daop 1 Jakarta area in August 2020, namely 15 trains departing from Gambir Station and 13 trains departing from Pasarsenen Station," he said, in a written statement received by VOI, Sunday. , August 16th.

Eva explained, currently, train ticket bookings can only be made through the online system and can only be ordered at the earliest 7 days before the departure date. Online orders can be made through the KAI Access application, the kai.id website and collaborating external channels.

"Or showing a symptom-free certificate such as influenza (influenza-like illness) issued by a hospital doctor / Puskesmas for areas that do not have PCR and / or Rapid Test facilities," he said.

Second, prospective passengers are in good health. This means that prospective passengers do not suffer from flu, colds, coughs, fever, and a body temperature of not more than 37.3 degrees Celsius.

Third, use a personal mask and wear a face shield provided by KAI. The use of a face shield is carried out both at the station and during the train journey. For customers under 3 years of age, please provide their own personal face shield.
