4 Balloons Jambi Governor Still Hunting For Party Support

JAKARTA - The candidate (balloon) for Governor in Jambi Province has narrowed down to four pairs. However, the four balloons did not meet the requirements for party support.

Thus, these four balloons are still hunting for support from political parties running for the General Election Commission (KPU).

"Lobbying against supporting parties by regional head candidates is still intensively carried out. Lobbying of parties can change depending on the intensity of communication that is built by regional head candidates with party elites," said Jambi Political Observer As'ad Isma as quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 16.

The four balloons are Fachrori Umar who is the incumbent who will pair up with Syahrial. Then Check Endra – Ratu Munawaroh; Al Haris-Abdullah Sani; and Syarif Fasha Asafri Jaya Bakrie.

With these conditions not fulfilled, the respective regional head candidates are still intensively lobbying politically against political party elites in the capital.

According to him, there are many possibilities that will occur in the election for Governor of Jambi in 2020. The opportunity for the four candidates for Governor of Jambi to fight for the position of governor is still open.

The hope is that these four governor balloons will get party support, so that regional head elections can run democratically and the friction that occurs during the regional elections is minimal.
