The First Two Weeks Of December, Three Artists Caught Drugs

JAKARTA - Three artists were arrested for narcotics cases at the end of the year or December 2021. They included Jeff Smith, Bobby Joseph and the initials RN.

The arrest of the three artists with different types of drugs. Ranging from methamphetamine to Lysergic Acid Diethylamide or LSD.

Most recently, the artist with the initials RN was arrested by the police. He was arrested in the Jakarta area on Monday, December 13.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan, who confirmed the arrest, did not want to reveal the identity of RN. Moreover, about the type of narcotics that became evidence.

"Yes, it is true that there was an arrest of an artist with the initials RN related to narcotics," said Zulpan when confirmed, Monday, December 13.

However, Zulpan gave a few hints. RN is said to be a young artist. In addition to the artist, RN is also a model.

"(Profession) Model and artist. Still young," said Zulpan.

Until now, the identity of RN has not been disclosed on the grounds that it is still in the development process. Moreover, investigators are still investigating the origin of the narcotics obtained from the hands of RN.

The second artist to be arrested for narcotics was Bobby Joseph. He was arrested by the South Tangerang Police on December 10.

Bobby was arrested with evidence. methamphetamine weighing 0.49 grams. Where, the methamphetamine was stored in cigarettes wrapped in plastic.

"When he was arrested, (Bobby Joseph) tested positive for methamphetamine," said Zulpan.

The results of the examination revealed that Bobby had been taking drugs for the past six years. He uses it to increase his stamina and can focus on his work.

Bobby also became an intermediary for drug sales by working with another party with the initials J.

"Based on the examination, the person concerned is also an intermediary in the purchase and ordering of synthetic drugs or gorillas," Zulpan said.

Currently, Bobby has been named a suspect and detained under Article 114 and/or Article 112 subsidiary to Article 127 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The penalty is up to 4 to 20 years in prison.

Finally, the artist arrested in December is Jeff Smith. This young artist was arrested at his residence at Jalan Kelapa B 4 number 11, Depok, West Java, Wednesday, December 8th.

During the arrest process, the police found evidence in the form of 2 LSD sheets. However, from the results of the examination, Jeff Smith bought 50 sheets of LSD online.

In addition, to investigators, Jeff Smith admitted to taking LSD for his stamina. In fact, the effects of narcotics actually cause hallucinations.

In this case, Jeff Smith is charged with Law number 35 of 2009. The threat is a minimum of 5 years in prison.

With this arrest, the soap opera actor has had two dealings with the police regarding narcotics cases. Because, Jeff Smith was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police with evidence of marijuana on April 15.
