Apparently, The Pancasila Youth Office In Kemayoran, A Former Bank That Was Liquidated, Is Now A State Asset

JAKARTA - Dozens of joint officers from the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the TNI vacated the Pancasila Youth office on Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This building is a state asset.

Bayu Adinegoro, an employee of the State Asset Management Institute at the Ministry of Finance, said the four-story building, located at Office Ruko No. 29, was a state asset that was handed over from the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) to the State Asset Management Institute.

"The assets handed over to be managed from DJKN will be optimized by the State Asset Management Institute for cooperation or lease to parties in need," Bayu said Monday, December 13, quoted from Antara.

Previously this building was liquidated bank assets. The bank experienced a monetary crisis in 1998 and its collateral, including the building, was handed over and confiscated by the State.

The handover of the management of the building was only carried out in 2020, so the emptying of the new office was carried out today.

The evacuation was conducive even though the previous meeting with representatives of Pemuda Pancasila did not reach a consensus regarding the use of the building.

"Actually there is no rejection. Our coordination is quite good with representatives of Pemuda Pancasila. However, there is no agreement regarding its use, so like it or not we have to vacate it," said Bayu.

On the same occasion, the Head of Kemayoran Police, Kompol Ewo Samono, said his party had deployed around 70 personnel from the Police, TNI and Satpol PP to vacate the building.

Several personnel were seen carrying long-barreled weapons in the execution of the emptying of the building with orange-black striped walls.

"Those who occupied this building had already left and today only took out their belongings. This building is used as the secretariat of one of the mass organizations," said Ewo.
