Ahead Of The 2024 Election, PDIP Continues To Consolidate For Evaluation To Measure Readiness

JAKARTA - The PDI-P again held a second batch of Consolidation of the Pioneer DPC at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta on Monday, December 13.

There are a number of topics discussed in this activity. One of them is to gather strength in order to win the upcoming 2024 General Election (Election) through evaluation to measure readiness.

"This marathon consolidation, in addition to evaluating the implementation of post-Congress 5th consolidation, is to measure the readiness to win the 2024 General Election," said PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto in a written statement to reporters.

Hasto also mentioned that his party's electoral figure has now reached 26.4 percent from the latest survey results and is confident that the figure will rise. So, consolidation must be done continuously.

He also said the increase in electability was in line with public confidence in the administration of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

"Various indicators of satisfaction with Pak Jokowi's leadership have an upward trend," he said.

For this reason, the party bearing the symbol of the bull thanked the community for their support. Meanwhile for PDIP cadres, the mandate that has been given by the public must be maintained while still absorbing aspirations.

This, said Hasto, is in accordance with the message from the PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. According to him, Megawati advised her cadres to keep going down even though the party's electoral votes continued to move up.

"Ms. Megawati Soekarnoputri advised that a high electoral level is a driving force to keep moving downwards. All party members and cadres must work harder, be more enthusiastic, move away from the comfort zone, and become more integrated with the people," he stressed.

Furthermore, in this consolidation activity, the PDIP DPC administrators were also trained to become cultural individuals of the archipelago in order to face intolerance and radicalism.

Hasto said this step was in line with Megawati Soekarnoputri's mission so that her party would always promote a rich and inclusive archipelago culture. "The party office must be a house of culture and at the same time a response to the PDI-P in dealing with intolerance and radicalism through cultural means," he concluded.
