Three Youths With Scars And Golf Clubs Arrested By Police When They Were About To Brawl

JAKARTA - Three young men armed with sharp sickles and blunt objects in the form of golf clubs were arrested by the pioneering patrol team of the West Jakarta Metro Police.

After being interrogated in the field, it turned out that the three youths wanted to do a brawl on Jalan Raya Pondok Randu, Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The Head of Samapta at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Rahmat Sujatmiko, confirmed the arrest of the young man with the armor. In addition to arresting the three perpetrators, the police also confiscated golf clubs and sickles belonging to the perpetrators.

"We submit (to Satreskrim) for an immediate investigation process," he said when confirmed, Monday, December 13.

Regarding further handling, the three perpetrators and evidence were transferred to the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

Kompol Rahmat explained, the pioneering patrol team for the West Jakarta Metro Police was a special result team formed by the Polda Metro Jaya to create a safe and conducive area.

"This team prioritizes strike prevention efforts in creating a safe and conducive Kamtibmas situation," he said.

This team will hunt down street criminals starting at 21.00 WIB until 05.00 WIB. The team will maintain security and safety in crime-prone areas in West Jakarta.

"We hope that the public if they find or encounter any street crimes to immediately report to the nearest police station," he said.
