Playing Futsal Jajal Penumping Field, Gibran Supports Improving Sports Facilities In Solo

SOLO - Mayor of Surakarta Gibran Rakabuming Raka supports the improvement of sports facilities in the city of Solo, including their provision at the sub-district level.

"Good, let the family use it," said Gibran after testing the Solo Penumping Sports Field, quoted by Antara, Friday, December 10.

He said that later the field will also be added with other facilities in the form of lights for lighting so that it is hoped that it can be used for residents' activities until the evening.

"Earlier, Mrs. Lurah, Mrs. Camat have also reported so that next year they can add lights, so they can exercise until the evening," said Gibran.

Gibran also hopes that the existence of the field can be imitated by other sub-districts and sub-districts so that there will be more sports fields in the city of Solo.

"This is really good, there are futsal, basketball, volleyball, tennis, jogging tracks. It can also be rented and (income) can be managed by the sub-district," said Gibran.

Gibran said that the construction of the field spent the Surakarta City Budget for the 2021 Fiscal Year amounting to Rp. 1,591,438,400 with a completion time of 120 days.

Meanwhile, on that occasion, Gibran also played futsal with journalists. In fact, Gibran created five goals against the opponent.

"I play futsal very often, often do sports," said Gibran.
