Hundreds Of Residents Attend The Prayer Of The Mayor Of Bandung

JAKARTA - Hundreds of residents of Bandung City, West Java, attended the funeral prayer procession for Mayor Oded M Danial, who died Friday at around 12.00 WIB.

The body of Oded is buried in the pavilion building located at the Bandung Mayor's Office House, Jalan Dalem Kaum, Bandung City.

"Hopefully the late Mang Oded will be forgiven of all his sins, and his grave will be cleared," said Deputy Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, as quoted by Antara, Friday, December 10.

Apart from residents, there were also a number of Bandung City Government employees to regional officials ranging from service heads, council members, police and TNI officials, as well as West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

Until 14:40 WIB, a number of residents and other figures were still arriving to express their condolences.

The plan is that Oded M Danial's body will be buried in Tasikmalaya. His body is scheduled to be dispatched at around 15:00 WIB.

Previously, Oded was declared dead of a heart attack. Oded collapsed while attending Friday prayers at the Mujahideen Mosque, Jalan Sancang.

After collapsing, Oded was immediately rushed to the Muhammadiyah Hospital. When he arrived at the hospital, Oded was declared dead.
