Futsal Field Near Ex-Kemayoran Airport Sealed, No IMB And Built On State Secretariat Land

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Spatial Planning and Land Cipta Karya Sub-dept (Citata Sub-dept.) has sealed the building and futsal field arena in the former Kemayoran Airport, Central Jakarta. The building does not have a Building Permit (IMB).

Head of the Enforcement Section of the Central Jakarta Citata Sub-dept., Syahruddin, explained that the building stands on vacant land belonging to the State Secretariat and is managed by the Kemayoran Complex Management Center.

"The building does not have an IMB. Based on information, the land belongs to the State Secretariat, then it was built by unauthorized persons. We urge those who built this building to dismantle the building," said Syahruddin, Friday, December 10.

The sealing was carried out in a building with an area of 20x30 m2 which was used as a futsal field on Jalan Komplek Eks Kemayoran Airport, Central Jakarta.

The futsal field has not yet operated commercially. The construction has been carried out for three weeks and is still in the completion stage.

Central Jakarta Citata Sub-Department asked the contractor to immediately carry out the demolition within 14 days.

If after the deadline it is not carried out, the Citata Sub-Department will provide technical recommendations to Satpol PP to carry out enforcement.

"If the surveillance is not dismantled within 14 days, we will provide a technical recommendation to the Satpol PP to bring it under control. Now that it has been sealed, we will issue a demolition order," Syahruddin said as quoted by Antara.
