In Front Of Jokowi, Firli Bahuri Shows Off Saving The Country From Financial Losses Of Up To IDR 2.6 Trillion During 2021

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri showcased his work achievements in front of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). During 2021, he said he had succeeded in saving the state's finances of up to trillions of rupiah.

This was conveyed during the commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2021 at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"In its activities to help the government increase state revenue, the KPK has saved the return of state losses of Rp. 2.6 trillion for 2021," Firli said in his remarks, Thursday, December 9.

In addition, the former Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK also said that the anti-corruption commission had succeeded in saving the country from potential financial losses of up to Rp46.5 trillion.

Furthermore, Firli also briefly explained that reporting to prevent acts of corruption in ministries or institutions reached 97.2 percent with the compliance level of executive institutions reaching 92.46 percent; judicial 96.78 percent; legislative 89.51 percent; and BUMN 95.97 percent.

Finally, he also reported the number of gratuities reporting by state officials. Firli said, this year there were 1,838 reports made with a value of Rp. 7.48 billion, of which Rp. 1.8 billion was designated as state property.

"We really thank the state officials who have reported the gratification," he concluded.
