One Suspect Of Police Persecution In Pondok Indah Brings Items Similar To A Pistol

JAKARTA - One of the six suspects in the assault against Brigadier Irwan Lumbu is said to have carried a gun in the form of a gun. But, it turns out the gun was just a match.

"The weapon is a match gun, so it's not a gun," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, December 8.

Although not a firearm, the lighter in the form of a gun belonging to the suspect with the initials B was used to beat Brigadier Irwan. So, the match was used as evidence.

"It was to frighten and hit the victim, belonging to the suspect," said Zulpan.

On the other hand, continued Zulpan, his party will conduct urine tests on the suspects. This is because they are suspected of being abused under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Although, so far, from their confession they did not consume narcotics or alcohol while carrying out the persecution.

"Later we will do it (check urine) but they committed the crime knowingly, even when they were arrested they were aware that they were not under the influence of other things," said Zulpan.

The police have named 6 suspects in the assault case against Brigadier Irwan Lumbu in the Pondok Indah area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

The suspects had the initials RP, JW, MA, G, B and A. Two of them were brothers.

The determination of suspects against them is based on the evidence and clues that have been collected. One of them, evidence of CCTV footage showing their faces.

With the determination of these suspects, the suspects are suspected of under Article 170 of the Criminal Code and Article 212 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with 214 of the Criminal Code. Thus, they face imprisonment for 8 years and 6 months.
