JAKARTA - Member of Commission B of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Adi Kurnia Setiadi, considers that the Transjakarta bus accidents that occur repeatedly are caused by the bad work system of the PT Transjakarta BUMD directors.

This he conveyed in a meeting of Commission B with the board of directors of Transjakarta. In fact, Adi expanded the discussion by revealing that he knew that a number of Transjakarta directors held meetings with operators while watching dance entertainment.

Adi claimed to know this from the video recording. In the video, the directors of Transjakarta and the operator are in a meeting while watching the belly dance.

"I was sent a video from the public, the director (Director of Transjakarta) is calling the operator while watching belly dance, chatting about transportation developments," said Adi at the DKI DPRD building, Monday, November 6.

Adi questioned whether there is a procedure regarding the assessment mechanism for cooperation with bus operator partners with meetings that include entertainment events.

"There's an SOP in the assessment like that? You guys discuss, chat with the operators at the cafe, while watching striptease, wearing Transjakarta clothes.

Responding to this, the President Director of PT Transjakarta Mochammad Yana Aditya again challenged Adi to reveal who the Transjakarta directors were who held a meeting with the bus operator while watching the belly dance.

"Please allow me, as a citizen, to the people's representatives to ask, sorry, who is this? If, for example, this is a violation, let us solve it," said Yana.

In response, Adi reiterated that he had evidence of the videotape he was referring to. Adi also asked Yana not to be offended.
