Ex-KPK Employees And Novel Baswedan Get Socialization On The Appointment Of ASN, But 4 People Are Not Present

JAKARTA - The National Police stated that not all former KPK employees attended the socialization of the National Police Regulation (perpol) regarding special appointments as ASN Polri. It was noted that only 52 former anti-corruption agency employees were present, including Novel Baswedan.

"From the invitations that were sent to 57 former KPK employees, 52 (people) were present," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Monday, December 6.

Thus, there were 5 former KPK employees who were not present at the socialization. Their absence for various reasons.

"One person is late on behalf of Riswin and later we will try to confirm it again. Then we apologize that one died on behalf of the late Nanang," said Dedi.

"Then the other one happened to be in Makassar on behalf of Faisal's brother, then the other one was finishing his master's thesis study, on behalf of Novariza's brother," continued Dedi.

The last one is Ita Khoriyah. He was not present in the socialization process because he was busy with wedding preparations

On the other hand, Dedi stated that the dozens of former KPK employees would undergo socialization related to Perpol number 15 of 2021. Then, it was followed by the signing of the MoU as ASN Polri.

"Then the signing of the statement letter that you want to be an ASN in the Polri environment, there are only various requirements, which are normative in nature, and today after the socialization and signing of the statement letter, HR is re-compiled," said Dedi.

Previously, the National Police invited 57 former KPK employees to socialize the Police Regulation regarding the special appointment of 57 former KPK employees as Polri ASN.

"Monday (next week) we (Polri) will first conduct socialization to the 56 former KPK employees," said Inspector General Dedi, when confirmed in Jakarta, Saturday, December 4.

This invitation follows the issuance of Perpol Number 15 of 2021 concerning the Special Appointment of 57 former KPK employees to become ASN Polri

The Perpol is a legal umbrella for the National Police to appoint 57 former KPK employees to become ASN Polri specifically.

According to Dedi, socialization is a stage that is carried out after the Perpol is issued and before the former KPK employee is sworn in as a National Police ASN.

Later, former KPK employees will occupy positions in accordance with a letter of approval from the Ministry of Administrative Reform Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpanrb).

Furthermore, the National Police together with the State Personnel Agency (BKN) compiled an employee identification number (NIP) for the former KPK employee.

"For placement, it is adjusted according to competence and then with BKN to issue the NIP," said Dedi.
