JAKARTA - According to the weather forecast put forward by the BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency), the rain will hit several parts of Indonesia. The capital city of Jakarta and its surroundings will also experience rain throughout the day. For those of you who will carry out activities outside the home, it can increase their vigilance.

BMKG forecaster, Muhammad Irsal Yuliandri, conveyed information on the Indonesian weather forecast that was valid throughout Sunday, December 5, 2021. "It was observed that the flow of cold air masses from Asia caused several regions in Indonesia to experience an increase in rainfall intensity, such as around the Karimata Strait, Natuna Sea, Bangka and Belitung, West and South Java Seas, most of Java and southern Sulawesi", he explained.

Meanwhile, rainfall will also occur in other parts of Indonesia. "Furthermore, some areas that need to be wary of are the potential for heavy rain that can be accompanied by lightning and are also found in Aceh, West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung, most of Java. Then most of Kalimantan, the central and southern parts, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, North Maluku, and West Papua will also be hit by rain", he continued.

For the Jakarta area, BMKG predicts light rain to occur in all areas of DKI Jakarta and the Thousand Islands throughout the day and night. BMKG issued warnings of potential rain accompanied by lightning in four areas of DKI Jakarta on Sunday afternoon and afternoon. These areas are South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta.

In the morning, West Jakarta and South Jakarta were moderately rainy, other areas of DKI and the Thousand Islands experienced light rain.

Turning to the afternoon, South and East Jakarta are predicted to experience rain accompanied by lightning, while other areas including the Thousand Islands will still experience light rain. Light rain is expected to continue into the evening.

The average air temperature in Jakarta is a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius, while the highest is 30 degrees Celsius. The air temperature of the Thousand Islands is 26-30 degrees Celsius. The air humidity in DKI Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is around 85-95 percent.
