Couples Opening Plus-Plus Massage Service In Tangerang, Rely On Daily Income From One Date Rates

JAKARTA – The Banten Police have exposed the immoral practice under the guise of health massage. The manager of the plus-plus massage parlor turned out to be masterminded by a husband and wife couple who have now been named as suspects.

When holding a press conference on Saturday, December 4 at the Banten Police, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Shinto Silitonga, revealed the motives used by a couple in opening a nasty massage parlor.

"The motive is to seek profit from the therapists by asking for a room fee of Rp100,000 per hour, which is charged from the service rate for each guest by the therapist of Rp300,000-Rp 500,000," said Shinto, Saturday, December 4.

Shinto Silitonga said that the therapists were known to come from outside Banten Province, aged 18 to 30 years.

"The therapists came from outside Banten Province, and from the results of their arrest, investigators confiscated sheets, used condoms and tissues, customer register books and financial records, as well as oil for massage," said Shinto.

For their actions, Shinto continued, the suspects were subject to Article 2 or Article 10 of Law no. 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons,

"For their actions, the perpetrators are subject to Article 2 or Article 10 of Law No. 21 of 2007 with a minimum threat of 3 years and a maximum of 15 years in prison," explained Shinto Silitonga.

Finally, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police confirmed that the Banten Police would not tolerate the practice of disguised prostitution in entertainment venues, and would take firm action with the TIP Law.

"Banten Police will take firm action against covert prostitution practices in entertainment venues," said Shinto Silitonga.
