JAKARTA - The East Java Regional Police and the Mojokerto Regional Police formed a team to investigate information regarding the relationship between Second Police Brigade (Bripda) RB and a student with the initials NWR who committed suicide at her father's grave.
The investigation was carried out because there was an alleged motive for the suicide act due to NWR being a victim of rape by Bripda RB.
"Currently, the team from the Regional Police and the Resort Police are investigating to investigate the information currently developing," said Mojokerto Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Apip Ginanjar to reporters, Saturday, December 4.
Allegations that are currently developing arise because Bripda RB and NWR had a romantic relationship. It's still unclear about the act of rape.
"We will continue to investigate. We received information that there was previously a love relationship. However (the results of the investigation) will be further conveyed," Apip said.
