Police Involved In Viral Case Of Student Suicide At Father's Grave, Pasuruan Police Member With Bripda Rank

JAKARTA - The East Java Regional Police stated that the police officer with the initials RB, who is said to be related to the motive behind the female student suicide in Mojokerto, is a member of the Pasuruan Police. The police officer is known to have the rank of Second Police Brigadier (Bripda).

"Bripda RB. The person concerned is at the Pasuruan Police," said the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, to VOI, Saturday, December 4.

At the Pasuruan Police, said Gatot, this Bripda RB was assigned as the NCO for the General Section. Where, in his duties under the Human Resources (HR).

"The person concerned (on duty) in HR (Polres Pasuruan)," said Gatot.

Currently, Bripda RB is at the East Java Regional Police. He was asked for information to confirm whether there was any involvement in the series of female student suicide with the initials NWR.

"Now the Police are still investigating," said Gatot.

Previously, it was viral on social media for a student with the initials NWR (23) who was found dead beside her father's grave in Sugihan Hamlet, Japan Village, Sooko District, Mojokerto.

Later, the cause of her death was said to be suicide. In addition, many reports say that the motive behind the suicide was because the girl had been raped. Currently, the news about the alleged rape by police officers is being clarified by the East Java Regional Police.
