Vaccination And Care To Protect, The Government's Way To Accelerate Economic Recovery

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian House of Representatives held a Live Streaming Seminar on the DigiTalk Forum with the theme Acceleration of Vaccination to Accelerate Economic Recovery. This event was filled by speakers such as Major General TNI. Mar, (Purn) Sturman Panjaitan who is a Member of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives, and Septriana Tangkary as the Director of Economic and Maritime Communications of the Ministry of Communication and Information.

​Septriana Tangkary said, in the context of vaccination, Indonesia is ranked 5th in the world for citizens who have been vaccinated. Nevertheless, Indonesia is still aggressively vaccinating its citizens up to 70 percent until the end of 2021.

In addition to vaccination, the government has also created a PeduliLindung application project that has several functions for daily needs.

PeduliLindung has 3 functions, such as screening vaccination status and swab tests for trade, work, transportation, education and religion.

The tracking function, to find out or track the places that have been visited. And lastly, the function of the health protocol, which is to scan the barcode of a place so that the number of visitors can be controlled.

"It is hoped that the government's programs will be carried out well by the community in controlling COVID-19," explained Septriana.
