Overnight, 5 Residents' Houses In Situbondo Were Robbed Of Thieves, Rice, Gas Cylinders And Bird Cages

SITUBONDO - An unfortunate incident was experienced by residents of Kedunglo Village, Asembagus Situbondo, East Java. In one night 5 houses were raided by thieves. The items stolen also varied, ranging from cellphones, money, rice, gas cylinders to bird cages.

The five residents' houses each belonged to Kim Zainuridho (30), Mahmuda (46), Misjono (48), Hafili (47), Adis (70).

Asembagus Police Chief Iptu Gede Sukarmadiyasa said the robbery incident occurred in the early hours of the morning. The action was carried out while the victim was sleeping.

The items stolen were also quite diverse, including 8 cellphones, 3 melon gas cylinders, 70 kg of rice and finally Rp 1 million in cash.

"It is suspected that the perpetrator entered by destroying the side and back doors of the victim's house," said Gede, Wednesday, December 1.

It is suspected that the serial theft at the villager's house was carried out by the same perpetrator. Because there are similarities in the mode they use.

"If you look at the modus operandi, the perpetrators are the same. Because when they acted, they damaged the side and back doors of the victim's house," he said.

To uncover this theft case, his party together with members have conducted a crime scene (TKP).

"For further investigation, apart from investigating the crime scene, we are also asking for information from a number of witnesses and victims," he said.
