Police Become Suspects In Shooting Case At Bintaro Toll Exit That Kills One Person

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said the shooter at the Bintaro Exit Toll Road, South Jakarta, was a member of the National Police with the initials Ipda OS. The shooter is a police officer on duty at the Polda Metro Jaya.

"As for the culprit, Ipda OS," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Tuesday, November 30.

Ipda OS is a member of the Traffic Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya who is assigned to the Highway Patrol Unit (PJR).

But Zulpan could not specify the motive for the shooting. The reason, Ipda OS is still undergoing intensive examination.

"It is now in the stage of examination and investigation to reveal the motive for the incident," Zulpan continued.

Previously, there was a shooting by an unknown person at the Bintaro Toll Exit, South Jakarta, on Friday, November 26, at around 19:00 WIB. Two people were victims in the incident.

One shooting victim died after previously undergoing intensive treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. While one other victim is still undergoing treatment.
