Temianus Magayang Apparently The Head Of Sesepne Village, Since 2020 Together With Pentolan KKB Soll Senate Killed Residents

PAPUA - The Director of Criminal Investigation at the Papua Police, Kombes Faizal Rahmadani, admitted that Temianus Magayang and the late Senate Soll were members of an armed group that frequently carried out violence around Dekai, Yahukimo Regency, Papua.

The two of them since 2020 have often carried out acts of violence and joint killings against civilians.

"This was revealed in the statement from the Senate Soll, who was arrested on September 1 in Dekai and died at Bhayangkara Hospital Jayapura on September 26," said Rahmadani, in Jayapura Papua, Antara, Tuesday, November 30.

He stated that Magayang was actually the head of Sesepne Village, Kelamdua District. Within the structure of the armed group Yahukimo was the commander of Operation Kodap 16 Kali Bele.

When arrested, Magayang was carrying a homemade firearm and bullets and had time to fight back so the officers were forced to shoot him. Magayang is still being treated at Bhayangkara Hospital.

Magayang was a member of the Yahukimo armed group with the late Soll and Erik Pahabol under the Commander of Kodap 16, Elkius Kobak.

This network is also linked to the Nduga armed group, namely Wendanak and Tendius Gwijangge, which for the past two years have been disrupting security in Yahukimo District.

According to Rahmadani, there were four police reports that were suspected of Gwijangge, including his involvement in the murder of Yahukimo KPU staff, Hendrik Jovinski, on August 11, 2020.
