JAKARTA - The condition of the Head of Operations at the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Metro Jaya Police AKBP Dermawan Karosekali, who was a victim of the Pancasila Youth (PP) beating has begun to improve and is still undergoing treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

Head of Medical Care and Treatment of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Kombes Yayok Witarto said, Dermawan could even undergo outpatient treatment in the next few days.

"Currently his condition is improving. Maybe in a few days, if his condition continues to improve, he can be treated as an outpatient," Yayok said, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 29.

Yayok said that since being treated on Thursday, November 25, Dermawan has shown a graph of improving health developments.

Dermawan's head injury due to the beating of the Pemuda Pancasila mass organization has also improved after receiving medical treatment from a number of specialist doctors.

Yayok said, Dermawan had no complaints of difficulty urinating like when he was initially treated for his injuries.

"Indeed, at first there were complaints, but now there are no problems. Hopefully, we can get outpatient treatment in the next few days. If we look at the progress, it is in an improving condition," said Yayok.

Polda Metro Jaya has named 16 members of Pemuda Pancasila as suspects because they were caught carrying sharp weapons during a demonstration that ended in chaos at the DPR-MPR Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 25.
