Officers Establish Road Blocking Command Post In Tangerang Ahead Of PPKM Level 3

TANGERANG – Ahead of the implementation of level 3 community activity restrictions (PPKM), which will be implemented in December 2021, the Tangerang City Metro Police will establish an isolation post. Insulation posts are implemented during the Christmas and New Year 2022 holidays to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

"We will implement restrictions such as tightening (on motorists) from outside entering Tangerang City," said Tangerang City Police Chief Commissioner Pol Deonijiu de Fatima to reporters, Monday, November 29.

Deonijiu said, blocking posts were built at a number of border points with other cities or regencies, such as the main roads leading to DKI Jakarta, South Tangerang City, and Tangerang Regency.

The partition, Deonijiu continued, will also be carried out on a small road or a mouse road between Tangerang City and other areas.

"The blocking will be carried out on the rat lane in the border area. We will return to the previous posts, we will reactivate them," he said.

On that occasion, in order to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus, the police will also tighten up entertainment venues in Tangerang City during Christmas and New Year's 2022. Although he will establish an isolation post, Deonijiu has not disclosed the technical implementation of the isolation post in Tangerang City.
