In his remarks, Head of the BKKBN Hasto Wardoyo considered innovation to be important in accelerating the achievement of stunting reduction in Indonesia.

"I hope that appreciation activities like this can be carried out periodically and I hope regional heads also carry out appreciation activities. Perhaps at the local, district/city, and provincial levels, give awards to those who have worked," said Hasto. .

Meanwhile, the Executive Director of HIPPG FIA UI, Widya Leksmanawati Habibie, explained that there were 185 participants who took part in the Prevent Stunting Innovation selection. The submission of this innovation proposal is spread across 95 regencies/cities in 26 provinces, with 6 categories to choose from.

Provinces that sent the most proposals from Central Java were with 31 proposals. The regency/city that sent the most proposals was from Kendari City with 13 proposals.

"All the submitted proposals are quite innovative and creative, so the jury team is very difficult to determine the best innovation. Based on the assessment criteria, 12 combinations will be selected that will get the best award," said Widya.

2. Categories of cross-sector collaboration

- The main winner was awarded to Sofiana Nur Khasanah from Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, with Sehati innovation.

- The second place winner was awarded to the Regent of Malinau Wimpi W.Mawa from Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan, with the Stunting Action innovation.

- The main winner was awarded to Rosmala Nur from UNTAD Palu, Central Sulawesi, with Mom's Care innovation.
