Social Minister Risma To Orphans In Indramayu: There Is A Savings Book And ATM, Will Be Filled Every Month

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini handed over assistance to the people of Indramayu Regency, West Java. The details consist of attention to orphans, disabilities, poor people, and uninhabitable houses (RLTH).

"There are savings books and ATMs. Every month it will be filled, don't lose it, because every month it will be filled," Risma said in Indramayu, Tuesday, November 23, quoted from Antara.

The aid was handed over to orphans in the Indramayu Regency Hall. Social Minister Risma handed over assistance to underprivileged communities in Indramayu Regency in the amount of Rp. 3.3 billion.

The assistance was given to orphans who were abandoned by their parents due to exposure to COVID-19 as many as 82 children with a total assistance of Rp. 26 million.

In addition, Social Minister Risma also provided assistive devices for 271 people with disabilities with a nominal assistance reaching Rp560 million. In addition, there is also basic needs assistance for 337 people with a nominal value of Rp. 298 million.

The Minister of Social Affairs also distributed entrepreneurship assistance for 77 people with a total cash of Rp. 184 million. There is also business development assistance for two PKH graduation KPMs of Rp. 5 million.

"There is also social assistance for uninhabitable houses (RTLH) to 115 people with a total of Rp. 2.3 billion," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the Working Visit of the House of Representatives Commission VIII, Selly Andrianygantina, said that the working visit he carried out with the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, was to Indramayu Regency in order to ensure that the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) program was distributed properly, on target, and with the right benefits.

"We are grateful to have been involved in being part of the proposal, distribution, and supervision that are inseparable for the program from the Ministry of Social Affairs," he said.
